Marketing Boost Review: An Unbiased Look
When I first came across Marketing Boost, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. I mean, how can you offer 3 to 7-day vacations for almost nothing?
It seems too good to be true. The following is my Marketing Boost review.
How Marketing Boost Works
I dug deeper into the workings of the vacation vouchers. Only then did I realize it was actually an amazing way of helping out both hotel/resort owners and businesses.
Hotels are rarely at 100% occupancy. The average occupancy for a hotel is around 70%.
This means a lot of rooms go unsold each night. Yet, the hotels still have to pay for the fixed costs of staff, electricity, etc.
How Hotels and Resorts Benefit
This is where Marketing Boost comes in. Marketing Boost makes deals with hotels and offer to give their rooms away for the price of sales tax and resort fees, if any. The hotels get to fill their rooms with guests who will spend money on room service and the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and shops.
How You Can Use Marketing Boost Vacation Vouchers
Now that you see how hotels and resorts benefit, let’s see how you can benefit from using the hotel vouchers. It’s actually quite simple. You give away the vouchers in exchange for completing a sale.
This little trick will boost your sales with minimal effort and give you a tremendous edge over your competitors.
Let’s say you sell insurance, you can give away a vacation voucher for clients who purchase a life insurance policy. If you’re a wedding event planner or wedding photographer/videographer, you can give away a vacation voucher to couples that hire you.
Or, if you have an e-commerce website, you can give away vouchers for anyone who makes a purchase over a few hundred dollars. Pretty much any business can benefit from Marketing Boost.
Make Your Vacation Offer Believable
If you give away Marketing Boost vacation vouchers for purchases less than $300-500 or so, most people will not believe you. Doing so also devalues the true value of the vacations.
If you sell low value items, don’t worry. Just attach the vouchers to a larger purchase, e.g., an overall order value of $300-500.
How to Use Marketing Boost to Get More Leads
If you’re trying to generate leads for your business, you’re probably thinking that Marketing Boost is not for you. Wrong! Not only does the company offer vacation vouchers, they also offer hotel savings cards and restaurant cards.
The hotel savings cards are available in denominations of $100, $200, and $300. The cards allow people to save up to $300 off rates you find on major travel sites like Booking.com, Priceline.com, and Agoda.com.
The prices available are travel agent rates, which means there’s NO markup. If you can save more than the value of your voucher, the site will give you an option of upgrading for a low monthly or annual fee.
Depending on the hotel and time of year you choose, it’s possible to save hundreds or even thousands of dollars on your stay.
The hotel savings cards are great incentives to get people to contact you about your services. For example, if you’re a wedding planner or photographer, you can offer couples a $200 or $300 hotel savings card in return for them taking time to listen about your services. And if they become a client, you can give them a complimentary vacation voucher.
Marketing Boost Fine Print
There’s very little fine print with regard to Marketing Boost. Here’s a basic rundown:
-To redeem a vacation voucher, you have to pay sales tax and resort fees. Sales tax averages around $20 per night.
-Resort fees can range from $20/night and up. Resort fees are primarily in the Las Vegas and Mexico destinations. After paying the taxes and fees, you have 18 months to book your reservation.
-You have to book your reservation at least 30 days in advance.
Are the Vacation Vouchers All-Expense Paid Vacations?
The vacation vouchers are good for 3 to 7 nights at a hotel. However, they do not include airfare, meals, etc, so these are not all-expense paid vacations.
Even so, they are a great deal users of the vouchers. They get a vacation stay typically worth over $1000 for less than $100.
You Can Use the Vacation Vouchers, Too!
That’s right! You can use one vacation voucher per year. However, you cannot go to the same destination twice. But with dozens of destinations in the US and worldwide, this shouldn’t be much of a problem.
The value of the vacation voucher you use exceeds the annual cost of signing up to Marketing Boost. So, you can kill two birds with one stone.
You can get more leads and sales. Plus, you get 3 to 7 nights of hotel accommodations each year for the price of taxes and fees!
